how do lizards hibanate we have 3 but not sure how they hibante. do u need dirt in the tank or what?

Answer
 That would depend on the species.  Bearded dragons in the wild like hollow rotten logs.  My own dragons have caves.  Some species will burrow into the ground, and leave only their noses out to breathe.
 Food is another thing that depends on the species.  You have obligate herbivores like iguanas and uromastyx, and so greens and veggies would be thier main diet.  Then you have carnivores like monitors and tegus.  Bearded dragons are omnivores and require a good salad of calcium rich greens like collards, dandelions, mustard and turnip greens, veggies like green beans and winter squashes and a little fruit like berries, plus a meat course, like appropriately sized crickets, silkworms, superworms, hornworms...in the UK, locusts are a favorite.
