lump on belly

i have a little 4 month old bearded dragon and iv noticed on the left apart of his belly he has a hard part. im really worried ,but im not sure if this is nothing or some type of deisese. hes been eat normally [around 25-30large gut loeded crix daily] and seems fairly active.his salad normally has mustard geens dadilions and swiss chard. i use news paper for a substrete and i never feed him mealworms so i sure it not compaction.but i really dont want to have to go to the vet for them to tell me that it is something normal. anyway plz get back to me, and if u have any other quetions about him plz ask.

Hello Nick,

I believe he probably has an impaction.  How large are the crickets you are feeding him?  They need to be smaller than the space between the eyes.  At 4 months old, he is not ready for large crickets.  I would begin bathing him daily, in warm water & massaging him on the right side of his belly from the armpit down to the vent.
Start feeding soft foods right now, such as chicken or turkey babyfood mixed with squash babyfood, with some applesauce & a dopr of olive oil daily. Do not feed solid foods until he begins passing
the impaction.
Keep him well hydrated with water & pedialyte mixture daily as well.
