Hi James, I'm including a couple sites on constipation in reptiles. In addition to treating the immediate symptom of constipation you should try to figure out the cause. The article discusses some possible causes.
Soaking in sightly warm water is the first suggestion. The added hydration and increased temperature can sometimes clear up the problem. You can also gently massage the belly area which can loosen up a blockage. You can try adding some high fibre vegetable like squash to the diet (squash baby food works well). Mixing a few drops of mineral oil into it can also move things along.
Complete blockages can turn serious quickly. If you don't notice some output after a day or two I would really consider consulting a vet.
