Question
Hello my bearded dragon is currently in a 40 gal tank he is 4 years old and i believe fully grown i recently acquired  a 300 gal tank and i really want to put him in it is there any reason it would be unsafe?

Answer
Hello Megan, a three hundred gallon tank? That is just huge! I don't see how it would be a problem at all, as long as you can maintain the heat in such a large area, and keep up with cleaning.

Another thing that may be a problem is feeding. Because the food items like crickets will have a large area to hide from the bearded dragon. He may have a hard time finding his food.

So feed one/two items at a time and keep going until he is done, or feed in a separate container. Maybe block off an area thats just for feeding...

But other then that I don't see anything wrong with it.

Sounds like he is a very lucky dragon, getting such a big tank.

Good luck
