Question
i have recently bought 2 dragons both males. one is doing really well and has already shredded and is eating normally. the other one hasn't grown and displays different behaviour to the other one. he tilts and twists his head whilst puffing his beard out. he isn't active like the other one. he rolls on his back and misses his food all the time. we took some advice and gave him smaller bugs and feed him separatly to the bigger one but he isn't improving at all. can you help.

Answer
Hello Becky,

If you are housing two males together, you will need to separate them immediately before the larger one kills the smaller one.
Do you have another tank setup that you can put him in?
Are you using a UVB light right now?  If so, what type & brand are you using?
Do you use calcium supplementation also, for them both?

He probably is being bullied by the larger one & is not getting enough heating & or lighting.  The stress will take over his system causing him to be ill.  His parasite levels are probably high right now which disrupts his GI tract & suppresses his immune system.

If he is not eating enough, I would recommend getting some chicken or turkey baby food along with some squash baby food to feed to him with a plastic dropper or syringe.
Let me know how he is doing.
