Shipping a Bearded Dragon Internationally

Hi Tracie,

I will be moving to Poland in the near future and currently own a 7 month old beardie. It will be hard to leave him behind, as he has grown to be a part of my family since we rescued him when he was only about a month old. Do you know anything about shipping internationally, and what the cost would be, if it is even possible? Thank you so much!

Hello Jessi,

Wow, Poland huh?
Well, UPS does ship animals internationally, so you can check with them regarding their rates, etc.  You would have to do the packing of him, & he would need to be packed correctly & safely in a box with movement restriction so he wouldn't get injured.

I have never shipped a pet internationally so I am not sure of the cost.  I think it is a pretty fair price from what I have heard.  Don't forget though, you will need to have a Health certificate from the vet within 10 days of your travel, as well as any importation papers that are necessary for Poland.
