African Plated Lizard

Question
My lizard moves around the tank but his eyes are closed most of the time for the last 3 or 4 days.  Can you please shed some light on why this is happening?

Before I can actually take a stab at answering this question, I need FAR more details:

How long have you had him?
When was his last veterinary checkup, and was he checked for parasites?
What type of enclosure do you have, how is it heated and lit, and what are the exact temperatures?  (The more detail, the better).
How is his appetite, and what are you feeding him?
