re: my green iguana

My iguana has fluid coming out of his eye its swollen and the inside of his eye is red, i have tried calling vets in my area and i am being told they don't handle exotic animals, he is not eating and very weak is there any other way i can save him.

Evelyn, what area are you in?  Could the vets perhaps refer you to a reptile vet?  If not, contact the nearest university with a veterinary college and ask them for help.  Ask the local zoo, they have to have a vet for all the animals.  You iguana's problem sounds serious, you need a vet.  If a vet treats birds it's not too much of a stretch to treat an iggy.
