Question
hi my 2 bearded dragons have stopped eating crickets but will eat locusts and morios is this ok as a staple diet also if i try pinkies how many a week do you recommend, the dragons are about 8 months old
thanks martyn

Answer
Hello Martyn,

Oh that is perfectly fine, eating locusts & superworms, at 8 months of age.  They probably just wanted a break from crickets for awhile & may go back to them later on.
Really, pinkies are not recommended to be fed on a regular basis as they are too fatty.  A lot of people do feed them to gravid females but if they are of normal weight, there is not much need for that much fat intake for captive dragons.
IF you do feed them, once monthly is plenty.  :-))
