My bunnies diet

Question
My bunny eats cheerios, is that good? And if not, how can I get him to stop? I do not give him a lot just a snack he seems to like it more than pellets or veggies.

Answer
Cheerios are not good for rabbits. They are too high in carbohydrates, which can mess up a rabbit's delicate digestive system. All you have to do is stop feeding the Cheerios. Instead, offer all the hay the rabbit wants, quality pellets, and fresh veggies. You can offer pieces of fruit as a treat (you don't want to offer too much as fruit can be fattening for rabbits). Most rabbits adore fruit (apples are usually a big hit), so you can use it in place of Cheerios for a snack.
