Obsessive licking of paws until they are bare and with sores

Question
My son has a mini rex bunny that is neutered. His problem is he has obsessive licking habits which has now left all of his paws with no hair and sores. He is let out every evening to play with 2 other bunnies. His cage bottom is with tile and his bed is covered with carefresh. He has toys and timothy hay, and timothy pellets for food. His tile is cleaned with water only, no chemicals. I wrapped his feet for about a month and they got better, but as soon as I stopped wrapping them they have sores again. He is constantly licking his feet. Can a bunny have allergies? Please help.

Answer
A bunny certainly can have allergies.  It could also be an obsessive-compulsive behavior.  If he doesn't chew at the vet wrap, you could continue to use that, otherwise I would check with your vet and see what could be done.  He might suggest an antihistamine first, but there are other treatments he could use.
