Question
Greetings I have been wondering my rabbit stares at the wall a lot and I give her as much affection as possible I love her dearly she does too. I also was wondering one day my rabbit was out of her cage playing when suddenly she sees something in the wall and runs and jumps 3 1/2 feet high and smacks right into the wall did she see something that I didnt see. She is okay though lol. Gizma can be a bit strange once you get to know her. I have also been wondering about my rabbits particular behavior she slams her feet soooo hard on the cage and scared me to death my heart is racing then she growls. Do you know why she is doing this thanks write back soon...

Answer
Rabbits when not playing have really nothing else to do but to stare at stuff so her staring at the wall is normal. When she smacked into the wall, she may have heard something in there that interested her. Her slamming her feet is a way of defending her territory. She sees her cage as her space, and she needs to protect it. Is she fixed??? The growling and stomping behavior is also that of a doe that is in heat and wanting bred.
