female rabbit digging

Hi..

I have a female rabbit and i know when she hasnt been out of her cage for a little bit she'll cant anxious and make a lot of noise in her cage. But right now shes doing something else. it's almost 24/7 now that she "dig's" and bites the floor of her  plastic cage. This isnt going on just for an hour here and there, its all the time and rather annoying no matter what I do. Why is she doing this and how can i stop it? Any information would be of great help, thanks.

How old is she?  Has she been spayed?  Does she have something to dig in (litterbox) or something to rip up (newspaper, cardboard box, phone book)?

She could either be having hormonal issues, in which case spaying will help, or she could just be bored, and having toys will help.
