please help me!

Question
I have just bought a female Lionhead rabbit for my other female rabbit as a friend. I put them in together today and my one i already had keeps humping the new one!!! Please tell me why she is doing this, i have tripple checked both are females, i cant see any penis or testicles on either of them, please help, will this stop? This is normal behavior for two rabbits recently introduced, but you should not let it escalate into fighting, since one rabbit may not appreciate being "humped."  Mounting is not only sexual, but also a sign of seeking dominance.  So if they start circling and acting unhappy, separate them at once.

Step one is to have both girls spayed so their sex hormones won't make things worse.  Plus, unspayed, unbred females have a very high risk of uterine cancer.  Please read:
