bertie has become very aggressive towards our collie bitch ..totally unprovoked .they are usually very close/best friends?...does this have anything to do with autum/seasonal changes at all/...

Hi,

Is Bertie spayed?  It more likely has to do with hormones than it does seasons.  If she is not spayed you should spay her and it will stop hormonal issues.  Dogs and rabbits aren't normally good companions.  She shouldn't be left alone with the dog at anytime.  If she is aggressive towards the dog it only takes one bite from the dog and Bertie will be seriously injured or killed.  My suggestion is to keep them separate unless you are 100% certain that they will not fight.
