grunting

Question
I'm curious if you have come across this:  my rabbit grunts like a pig.  I've had her for over six years, and she's done it from day one.  She's healthy, (now) spayed, and honestly seems to be trying to talk.  Sometimes the grunts sound annoyed, but she frequently just hops around the house, grunting to herself.  She grunts to get attention, when she's been fed treats, pretty much any time.  None of my prior rabbits have had the habit, and our other rabbit (male, 4 years old, healthy, neutered) has begun grunting occasionally since the two have been living in the same room.  Have you seen this before, or is my rabbit just weird?

Thanks!

Answer
Some bunnies squeak, some bunnies grunt, has long as she is happy and healthy I would not be concerned. If she has no respiratory issues, she is just making the noise.  Unspayed rabbits will oink, but she she is spayed, that can't be it.

Most rabbits don't make noises, but then she may not think she is a rabbit and is doing it to get attention.
