Can I treat  an inner ear infection with over the counter medications?  Help, I can't afford to take him to the vet's

Dear Cindy,

No, you can't treat with over the counter medications.  Many of those designed for humans can be dangerous or even deadly to rabbits, and you should not attempt this.  It could endanger your bunny.  Please read:

to find a good rabbit vet in your area who may be able to help you work out a payment plan.  Your bunny depends on you for this very important care, and I'm sure there's a vet who can work this out with you.  Without proper veterinary attention, he will not only not get better--he will get worse.
