hi ..my bunny keeps scratching her ears and sometimes in her face i think..then i found out that the edges of her ear was kinda rough like it has a skin problem..when i hold her and put her down , there's hairs on my hands =/
-----Answer-----
Hi Kenneth,
this sounds like your rabbit could have mites..mites cause dryness and scaling of the skin causing itching, which can become irritated and inflamed.  Bring your rabbit to be checked out by a qualified vet for mites/parasites..he then will give you a medicated cream or medicine.  Unfortunately mites cannot be treated naturally,if there is no sign of mites,it can be severe dryness of the skin caused by the electric heat in the house, but first have the mites checked to be sure...they cause a rabbit alot of discomfort.
 Good luck,Elizabeth

Answer
Mites are a common problem in animals..they are microscopis bugs that live on the animal and eat their blood in miniscule amounts..it can cause irritation leading to infection and should be treated when diagnosed properly. Only a vet can check this , they'll supply you with the right stuff.
