Question
Hi, I have three rabbits: 2 girls 1 boy. My boy rabbit annoys one of my girl rabbits because he is trying to mate with her but she doesn't want to. I've been doing some research on Rabbit insurance and I CAN NOT find any insurance that covers Neutering/Spaying for Rabbits. Do you know of any? Also, my girl rabbit attacks the other girl rabbit. The girl is new to our family. I've only had the other 2 rabbits for about 2 months. But shes biting her so I keep them in seperated cages. My rabbit is acting like a psycho everytime she sees the new one. Any advice? I did a couple of dates with them but she's like a mini attack dog. The new rabbit just looks at her. I don't know what to do.....

Answer
Hello Cici!
Well I do not know of any insurance that will cover that!
Are you trying to breed for show rabbits or meat rabbits as i dont know why you would have 3 rabbits all together just for pets.
As a rabbit owner you need to keep the rabbits separated at all times unless you want babies. that is the way rabbits work they do not need a companion or playmate it is in their genes to produce offspring.
They are not a social group they are animals that live in colonies for protection not for friendship. Rabbits are also territorial so they need their space especially bucks.
What is the Date thing I do not understand the concept!
Are you trying to get them to breed? or just be friends?
remember they do much better alone.
good luck!
