2 female rabbits

Question
I have two 7 month old female rabbits that i got from petland when they were about 8 weeks old. they were already caged together. they share a cage and get along great for the most part. i have two separate questions. they have been mounting eachother for a couple months now, Why?? I noticed today but did not witness, both have a patch of fur missing behind there neck on the top and little scabs that may look like bite marks,Why?? and what should i do to make this situation better? like i said they get along fine from what i see cuddling laying by eachother, etc. PLEASE help me!!

Hello there !
Its simple your rabbits are sexually mature now & are ready for breeding
This may be hard for your to do but from now on they need to live apart ! Even though they grew up together they will eventuality will fight & pull all the fur out from each others neck & back.
