Can Bunnies have catnip??

Dear Lindsey,

Catnip is a mint that is non-toxic to rabbits.  However I've never known a bunny who didn't find it totally disgusting.  ("UGH!  What is that CAT stuff you're shoving into my face?!?")

Other mints (except Pennyroyal and its cultivar "Chocolate" mint) and fresh herbs such as cilantro, parsley, kale, tarragon, oregano, marjoram, etc. are great for bunnies.  You can read everything you need to know about a healthy rabbit diet here:
