Question

Second is i cant seem to find the thing i use i forget what its called its blue so can i use rubbing alcoholic and or hydrogen peroxide?

Answer
Dear Marc,

You can use a very thin layer of triple antibiotic ointment on sore spots, but don't use the type with topical anesthetic (it stings!).  This ointment is not suitable for all uses, so if you describe what you're using it for, I can better advise you.

The blue disinfectant you were using may have been Chlorhexiderm.  DO NOT use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on open wounds.  They are both caustic and dehydrating.  Instead, use dilute povidone iodine to wash a wound well.  Deep wounds need the care of a veterinarian.

Hope this helps.
