Dwarf Lop Rabbit with little black scabs

Hi I have a dwarf lop rabbit and have recently noticed black scab looking lumps on both sides of his cheeks at the base of the hair. He is eating well and his poo is normal i wondered if you could tell me what you think is wrong.

Dear Vicky,

Some rabbits have a small population of mites that show signs like this.  This can be safely treated with Revolution (selamectin) from your rabbit vet.  If you don't yet have a rabbit vet, you can find one here:
