Is he sick?

Question
I have a 10 lb. Rex that I've had for 4 years. Paqui came from the Humane Socity and the papers said female rabbit. The vet checked her out and said girl. After 4 years, I found out Paqui is really Paco --he tried to mount another rabbit and when I grabbed him and turned him in my arms, I notices he had undergone a sex change!
Today, when I took him out of his cage, I noticed he's making snoring sounds. His eyes are clear and he has energy and he's his normal affectionate self. Is he getting sick? I've not heard this noise before.

Answer
Dear Patricia,

Sounds during breathing can indicate congestion, and though some bunnies have a loose palate that makes them "snore", it's wise to have your vet listen to his lungs and have a look at him to be sure he isn't developing a respiratory infection.  Please read:

and find a good rabbit vet here:

I hope he's just fine, and that he's just a snorky bun.
