Question
i have a dwarf mini rex 22 weeks old and female, she is growling and i have no idea why, please help.

Answer
Hello,melinda

Is your bunny neutered?  If not, that's definitely the first step.  He's just showing normal aggression that any hormone-soaked bunny will do(or any mammal) will tend to show when he feels his territory (or personal space) has been invaded.
Check your own body language.  Rabbits generally consider a frontal approach (e.g., tapping the ground right in front of his nose or reaching directly for his face from the front) to be an act of aggression, since this is the way rabbits challenge each other.  A dominat rabbit (which may be what yours is!) will generally crouch down for a subordinate rabbit to groom his head, so if you approach slowly from above, he is less likely to be aggressive.
You can find some very interesting information on rabbit aggression (and how to stop it) here:
http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/aggression.html

She may Also have detected a new scent or sound. Rabbits have to be very alert to changes in their environment so she was thumping and growling because she sensed something different and felt threatened. I know sometimes my rabbits will do the same thing for no apparent reason, and then be ok in no time.

Ok now you can read this Advice and think what is the best way to stop your bunny From Growling.I will advise you try talking softly and give her treats. Remeber rabbits take very long to get used to some thing so you will have to just Go trough a bit of difficult thing! But I hope it will come right soon!
