Found a Pet Rabbit

Question
I've found a rabbit and he/she is very sweet. The people that had him before had him found him as well. So he/she is a twice lost rabbit! No signs were posted in my neighborhood. I will post signs myself. But, what do I do in the meantime? I live in an apartment and from what I understand rabbits and apartments don't always mix. They have a need for rooting and will possibly eat on furniture. I am absolutely willing to care for this rabbit until we can find the owner or decide to keep him or give him to the ASPCA. I really need some advice! I just found him about an hour ago. What do I do?
Thank You So Much!

Answer
I think this is going to answer most of your questions - http://www.rabbit.org/care/new-bunny-index.html

If you can, restrict him to the bathroom for now, since you don't know if he is litter trained or anything.

I had rabbits in apartments for 5 years, so I know it is possible, it just takes more planning.

And be especially sure to read the section on diet, bunnies have to have pellets and hay, not just carrots and other veggies.

Thank you for rescuing him for some terrible fate.
