QuestionWill two rabbits of the same sex get along in a large encosure?
AnswerLisa, a lot depends on the rabbits. Some rabbits are very laid back and you can have two females together without problems. BUT some females are loaded with hormones and will mount each other and have false pregnancies and fight. Males need to be nutered to have them together. If you bring two sisters up together and they are of one of the larger breeds ( the larger breeds are usually calmer than smaller breeds ) they might be good and get along - as long as they never smell a buck.
I am convinced that rabbits are very social creatures - even tho the literature says no. I keep a very large pen where I keep my pregnant does and they do fine together - but then they are all PG !
