Question
i read about snuffles and how it can lead to head tilt a more serious condition. i work at a school and another teacher put neosporin on our rabbits infected eye and applied saline contact wash to our rabbits eye. this same teacher put four sand turtles into the same pen i had our rabbit in. could she have got this bacterial infection from the turtles? the neosporin label says DO NOT USE IN EYESso it should not be appplied to the rabbits eye right? and the aline solution is not even for eyes its for contacts, so tomorrow i will look for the correct eyedrops. the lower area like where her tear duct is, is red and the eye is not closed at all just red and a white discharge. she has had this eye infection the past week, should i take her to a vet monday?

Answer
Turtles can transmit salmonella bacteria to other animals.  So if the rabbit is still with the turtles I would separate them.

You are correct, Neosporin is not for use on the eyes. Saline wash would be.

However, since there is a white discharge, take her to the vet, she has some sort of infection and they will need to culture it to find out which is the appropriate antibiotic for treatment.
