Biting/Holding

Question
I have an almost 4 month old female rabbit.  I am having problems with putting her in her cage at night and holding her.  She was really tame when we got her but now she is becoming more aggressive.  I think I may be picking her up incorrectly and/or catching her incorrectly.  She has bit my arm twice when I am holding her and I almost drop her.  I'm becoming afraid of her and I don't want to because then I will interact with her less and less.  (She also loves to bite my pants legs, especially at my knees, and the waistband of my pants when I am on the floor with her.)

Answer
You sure she isn't getting hormonal?  When rabbits reach their sexual maturity (which can happen at this young age, yes) they start exhibiting behaviors like this.  Getting her spayed should help with the biting.

Some rabbits do like to chew on clothing, it's not "right" in their opinion and they want to fix it to suit them.  Many bunny owners have pants and shirts that have holes in them (me included).

For the time being, you may want to use leather or garden gloves if you have them so that she doesn't hurt you.
