pig sanctuaries

Question
My son and I are going to Hawaii for his make a wish. He would like to visit a pot belly pig sanctuary. Is there a rescue or pot belly pig sanctuary in Hawaii? My son and I have "cookie" who is a much loved member of our family. Cookie has helped my son through so much during his illness I can't even begin to tell people how beneficial pet therapy is. Especially with a pet as smart as our pot belly pigger.

The only rescue I know of in Hawaii is the East Maui Animal Refuge, they have farm animals including big pigs www.booboozoo.org

Forgotten Angels Rescue & Education Center is located in TN, but they have a huge number of contacts, and may be able to put you in touch with a private sanctuary. Contact Lana at info@farec.org
