Hello, we got our baby pig when she was 4 months old. She warmed up to us very quickly. She loves napping on our laps and cuddling throughout the day. She's now 6 months old, and within the past 2 weeks her behavior has changed. She started eating paper and cardboard (before she would rip things up and play with them, but now she tries to eat them). She also will occasionally chew on walls and bookshelves. She gets very upset if I leave the room. When I woke up from a nap the other day, I noticed she had ripped up the carpet right outside my bedroom. She used to love being picked up, but now she fusses when we pick her up or even reach out to give her a belly rub. She also started snapping at us like she's going to bite. This is usually when she's napping on me.

She was spayed about a month ago. Any advice would be really appreciated!!

Answer
Hello,
I am guessing that she might be cutting teeth.
Pigs get several sets of teeth in their younger years.  Some get through it by just grinding their teeth a lot and foaming at the mouth.  Other will get distructive and cranky because of the pain.
You can give her some asperin in accordenc to her weight.
this will hopefully take the edge her pain.
Hope this helps,
Patty
