my potbelly pig has dieara.. what should i try before taking it to the vet any body no what i could try first??

If the diarrhea is due to a minor tummy upset, some rice cereal and banana should help.

If that doesn't help, and the diarrhea doesn't go away soon, the cause could be something very serious, like an e.coli infection or intestinal blockage. It may seem strange that a blockage causes diarrhea. What happens is the blockage stops everything, only the liquid waste that comes out as diarrhea can get past it.

If the problem is an infection, piggy will need to see a vet for medicine. If the problem is a blockage, piggy may need surgery.
