Question
QUESTION: I have a 3-1/2 month old female pot belly.  She was the runt of the litter weighing only 2lbs at 6 weeks old. She has now blossomed to a whopping 20lbs. I am really confused on how much to feed her, reading many differing opinions, and I think I may be feeding her too much. I feed Barbie  1 cup in morning and 1 cup in evening of NutriSystem Mini pig feed, along with a childrens multivitamin, and Vitamin E supplement feed. I occasionally give her veggies to go with it. I have a feeling 1 cup twice a day is too much, and at 3-1/2 months 20lbs is too heavy for her. Am I correct?
Thank you very much for you help on this.

ANSWER: Hello,
I would need to see a picture of Barbie and also need to know all of the ingredients in the feed you are feeding her.
Every piglet is different and has different needs.
Please send me a picture to patty012001@yahoo.com an we will go from there.

QUESTION: Nutri Source has 16% protein (min) and 3% fat (min.  Another problem we have is that we live in the woods surrounded by oak trees.  The ground is covered with acorns and she is eating them all the time when she is outside. In fact she will run away from us if she knows we are going to take her away from eating them...she is a stinker!
Thank you so much for your advice.

Answer
Thank you for sending me a picture.
Barbie looks like she is in goo weight in proportion to her length and height.
She looks like he will be an easy keeper and you should be care about a she matures she will gain weight easily.
She is a medium size Pot Bellied pig and should mature to 60 to 100 lbs. possibly more.
If you want an excellent feed that helps keep here a good healthy weight please try Infinity Plus Pig Chow.  Also you should try the Vit/Mineral Supplement.  You can find it on the product page at royaldandie.com
