Question
QUESTION: My wife and i got a dwarf pot belly pig from a rescue, and was informed the quickist way yo bond with a piglet is to wrap it in a towel or blanket snugly and hold it for two hours and hand feed it while holding it.  Does this work? Our piglet is 2 months old.

ANSWER:  Touching your pig and spending time with it is a good way to bond. But the best way to bond is teaching tricks..and being near your pig many hours.
Feeding your pig for 2 hours and holding it could turn it into a monster.
Food does not really bond you to a pig, except temporarily. It bonds the pig to food, and you are seen as a vending machine.
It could backfire. You do not want a food crazy spoiled pig.
I bet by now you have seen some aggression...

QUESTION: Thx for the reply, no agression yet we have only had her for two days. Ill be checking into the book thx.

Answer
Good.
Pigs can get spoiled, so be careful to be gentle, but firm with your new piggy!
Food will help with the bonding process. Make sure your pig gains your trust, socialize him in baby steps.
Let me know if you have any problems, pigs are not always the easiest pets to communicate with at first.
Good luck,
