Sall itching and so am I

Question
I got Sally, a very cute and fun Pot Bellied Pig for mother's day this year.  She scratches herself on EVERYTHING in our house! Shortly after getting her, I started getting little red welts that itch uncontrollably.  I went to the doctor and they have no answers. My question, is it possible that the pig is giving me this rash? Is is possible that whatever is making Sally itch is making me itch?

Hello,
I would be almost positive that Sally has mites.  They can be transmitted to humans.
Sally can be treated with Ivomec and all of her bedding washed.
You can get what you need from your Vet.  You will need to get a prescription from you doctor also.
