injured nose

Question
My pig come inside this morning after going potty and his nose was bleeding, sliced open on the bottom about 1/4" long. What would be best to put on it and for pain relief? I was concerned about him ingesting any creams with it being close to his mouth. Please help, I'm worried sick about him.

Hmmmm, I am not a vet, so this is a hard one. Pigs heal VERY fast.
I would just try and keep it clean with hydrogen peroxide (they can ingest that safely). Oil based meds can contribute to abscesses, you want the wound to "breathe".
He will probably be just fine, pigs heal faster than humans.
If any foul odor appears, take him to a vet.
