New borns.

What bedding and care of new born rats, Do I need to know? .

Answer
The bedding needs to be soft so no wood chips of any type. The kind I would use is called care free and You can get it at walmart or petsmart for about 4 bucks a bag. Is a doe caring for them? If not the buy mouse formula at petsmart and use water and sugar to keep them hydrated. use cotton balls and toilet paper for bedding a nest. If the mother is caring for them, Just make sure she has plenty of food and water and privacy
