I own rats and I am pregnant

Is there anything I should be concerned about if I own two rats and I am pregnant? Sometimes when I pick them up they will scratch by mistake.

Nope, there is nothing rats can give you or your unborn baby. Pet cats are more of a risk than pet rats (toxoplasmosis) and the truth?
Rats are cleaner all over than a childs hands are after playing with other children.  

Two of our experts here have young children, one is Janell, who has a beautiful 6 month old daughter and she is a rat breeder.
