How can I tell if my rat has got fleas? And if she does have fleas what is the treatment?

You will see fleas physically crawling on your pet rat. They are exactly the same as dog and cat fleas. You may be able to use advantage on them, however you'd need to ask your vet for a proper dosing, as I have no idea how to treat an animal that small with anti-flea medication.
