Hi It's me again with Timmy and Jimmy, if you remember is now dead. I was wondering, will most breeders that say they have baby rats have older rats aswell and would it be a good idea to bring timmy in my pet caddy along to the pet store?

Answer
I would not bring him to the pet store, no. You never know what virus could be hiding that Timmy may catch.

Remember, they wont bond right off so trying to see who he gets along with wont really work and in fact more aggression may show than anything by being around so many other rats at once.

You can always find an older rat, if not the pet store, from a rat rescue. There are plenty of rat rescues that have plenty rats that need homes.  If you need to know of some please let me know where your located and I can give you some names.
