rat socializing

i have a question about when we get our pet rats. you see we are planning on getting two and we were wondering how we socialize them. do we do both at the same time, or do we do it induvidually. if so how if we're not suppost to touch them? thank you for your website it really helps!

You can touch them, just never force  yourself on them.
