The glucosamine and chondroitin

Question
Hello Sandra!

So I went to GNC and picked up 500 of glucosamine and chondroitin in the
same tablet. They do not carry the 2 separate..for whatever reason.

So 2 questions now.

First off, it didn't even faze me to ask wether or not they had this in a liquid,
which I am going to call and find out tomorrow. And if they do, PERFECT.

If they do not carry it in a liquid Im wondering if you can help me figure out
how to get them to eat this crushed up tablet.

Yesterday went alright, I used pineapple ice cream pinky ate most of his, and chocolate got some clumps of tablet and wouldn't eat those.
TODAY. I gave it to them the same way. Chocolate ate 3/4 of his and pinky
hardly had any.
So I tried again with pudding, pinky licked it for a while. and stopped.
I even tried to see if they would eat the tablet the way it is from the bottle.
Didn't even taste it. haha

So usually I just mix stuff with juice and they drink it up, but Im not so sure
that would work with a pile of powder? Suggestions would be great.

As for my second question because its the 2 of them in the same tablet and
its 500. You said 250 of glucosamine and 200 of chondroitin. So does this
mean i give them the whole tablet, or just half now?

I cant quite figure that out.

Thanks again.

Answer
Hi Monica

I checked around and it only comes with the two supplements together in one pill. Your not supposed to give the entire tablet, just 1/4 tablet once per day.  So each rat gets 1/4 tablet which means you cut the tablet four ways and one tablet lasts two days.

You can try adding it to juice, 1/4 tab isnt much at all to mix up. See how that goes!
