Ivermectin again

OK well ive ordered the over the counter Ivermectin and will give it a try.

One other quick question? Can rats have chicken bones? I gave them a chicken bone with a bit of meat on. They ate the meat but then noticed they were chewing the bone up too (probably to get the marrow out) Can the splinters of bone be bad for them?

A quick story that i thought might make you laugh. My girls had their free time the other evening and they both kept scampering off under the drawer under my bed. I forgot i had left some pouch sachets of juice there. I called them and they both stuck their heads out all covered in blackcurrant and apple juice. They thought it was quite funny (im sure i could see them laughing!!) I didnt when i realised they had chewed through 5 of them and i had juice all over my new carpet!!!!

Oh those bRATS!  LOL   

My rats got into a packet of my organic hermit crab food and devoured the entire packet.  It was simply dried fish and blood worms but....eww...


As for the chicken bones....some people give them, I say NO. They splinter and we all know how easy rats can choke.  

Some other experts may disagree with me but I am overly protective and know what can happen so ....thats my take on it.  :o
