QuestionHello,
My cat got a hold of a mouse in our house and I was able to save the mouse.
However, her leg is badly broken. It is bright purple, very swollen and has
started to bleed. She is very friendly for a wild pet and I'd really like to keep
her. Is there anything I can do for her? She is walking, eating and drinking
but her leg looks awful!
AnswerTake her to a vet that treats wild life. I can try to find someone for you. You can give her motrin, just a tiny tiny drop of childrens liquid motrin, but that leg may be a compound fracture and it may not heal good. Keep her isoltated in a cage where she cant climb and has to lay still more than move around.
Also dont let anyone tell you she CANT be kept as a pet because she can. I kept a wild rat and she was an awesom pet!
