My pet rat is not herself

Hi Sandra,
My daughter Mia has a pet rat and we have come home to find that the rat is roling around and is not able to stand up right,
do you think you could tell me what is hoing on?

She needs a vet. She has an inner ear infection that is causing her to be off balance.

Please let me know your location and I will find a vet that sees rats. Not all vets will treat them.  A course of antibiotics for 2 weeks with some steroids and she should be good to go. Refer to my website, sandyscrittercity.com and check out the page on rats with head tilt etc...and also check out pituitary tumors just to be sure she doesnt have the same symptoms. Usually they mock each other.  How old is she?
