Rats with tumor...

Question
Hello,

I've recently taken in 2 rats from a neighbor of mine who found them at a friends house (they were being kept in a closet)

Anyway the 2 girls are around a year old and very friendly but i was quick to notice that one girl had a tumor about the size of a cherry tomato, she moves around fine for now but I know it will just keep growing and eventually have to be removed.

Right now I just dont have the money to pay for the tumor removal, but while I am getting it together I was wondering if there was something I could do to make it easier on the rat or even slow the tumors growth until then.

Thank you so much for any advice you could offer.

Answer
There really isnt much you can do to help slow the tumors with the help of a Vet. Please see my site, sandyscrittercity.com and refer to the page on tumors for more info on what the vet can do. Once youg et the money, it will be good for you to know what to expect.
