loss of a pet rat

I had a blue rat for 1month and she just passed away this weekend I had her in with another rat that I had for about 8months should I get another rat

Answer
 If the rat you have now did well when you introduced the other rat then yes I would recommend you get another one.  Rats generally do much better in pairs, especially females.  If there was a lot of fighting when you introduced them and they never really settled in then it may be better to keep her alone, but usually females get on with each other really well, especially younger females or babies.  I hope that answers your questions, good luck with your rat!
