Question
Hey, I have two girls of about 5 weeks.  They are at the moment in fine health, I just wanted to know a rather strange question.  I have excema and am currently using a cream with Fucidin and Cortisone in it.  My girls love licking my hands.  Do you know if either of those medicines might be harmful to them should they ingest it?
It didn't occurr to me that it would be possible until after I let them.  Should I be concerned?

Answer
Hi Beth

Although the medication your using is an antibacterial, I would still wash my hands good first before holding them alot or simply do not allow them to lick your hands if washing them is not possible. Rats can use cortisone topically themselves for various ailments and
I doubt there would be really any harm in it to be honest, but its better to be safe than sorry.
