vaginal bleeding

hi i was just wondering is the vaginal bleeding something that usually happens to younger or older rats because my rat trouble has had vaginal bleeding for a few days that wasnt really noticed till earlier today.

No vaginal bleeding in rats, regardless of age, is acceptable for rats. It could be caused by a number of things, from infection to tumors or even an abscess. Good news is it can be treated if its not anything major.  How old is she?  Do you need  a good vet that knows about rats?
