my rat bigboy

QUESTION: hi my name is stuart i have a male rat called big boy i have a major problem with him that my local vet cant help me with so i was hoping you could he is 3 years of age and as developted a big lump on his head witch is pushing his ear back and his eyes back into his head i think the lump is just fluid as it is spungie and now his back legs arnt working his right leg is but not that good but his left leg isnt workin at all and i dont no what to do with him please can you tell me what could be wrong with him

Is here fur on this lump or is the lump covered with fur?  Has anything come out of it at all? Where on the head is this lump?
